What to expect:
Facility: We are very proud of our facility that we have to provide the best care to our patients. We want everyone to be comfortable and feel at home and like family in our office. Our goal is to treat everyone as family and that starts the moment you walk through our doors.
First appointment:
When you come for your first appointment you will be greeted upon walking in the doors. You have the option of filling out your paperwork in the office upon arriving or when you call to schedule an appointment, we can send you the paperwork via email so you can fill it out ahead of time. The paperwork will include questions on your complaint symptoms, and past medical history. You will also have a HIPPA and informed consent form for you to sign as well. Once finished the with your paperwork the doctor will review it and get you to go back into the exam room. The doctor will ask more in-depth questions on your complaints and symptoms. The doctor will then go through orthopedic tests. If x-rays are warranted, we have a cooperation with the local hospital to refer our patients to for x-rays. If the doctor feels that an adjustment is appropriate, then we will get on a table for an adjustment. We have several different techniques at our disposal and will work to find what technique works best for you. After the adjustment, the doctor will discuss any at exercises or stretches that they feel will aid in your care to restore function and help alleviate pain and will discuss any follow up appointments. We will also answer any questions that you might have at this time. The doctor will walk up to the front with you and let the from desk know when your next appointment is.
Follow up appointments:
Returning to the office is easy. We will still greet you as you walk in. You have the option of checking yourself in or the front desk staff can check you in. once checked in have a seat in the waiting room until the doctor calls you back. The doctor will ask a few questions pertaining to your treatment and then will adjust and answer any questions or additional instructions.
Financial:
Our office gladly accepts cash, and all major credit cards and debit cards. We work with Blue cross and Blue Shield of Kansas and Medicare. If there is any questions about your insurance let us know.
Cancelation Policy:
At Sahlfeld Family Chiropractic we ask that you provide as much notice as possible when you know you cannot make an appointment. We want to be able to offer that time to other patients.
